Everything takes practice. We can learn something in theory, but it is only when we are tested with an experience that we can put the theory into practice. The first few times of putting a new theory that we intellectualize into physical practice may look & feel clumsy at first. Be patient. And gentle. The next time & the time after that, you will handle it better. Too often we beat ourselves up for not handling something “perfectly,” when there is no way to necessarily do it without real practice. It’s beautiful knowing it is all a process.
